I said it in my own journal and I'll say it here: "Livejournal did NOT infringe on ANYONE'S First Amendment Rights!" This is not the same as me saying LJ was right in what they did. I don't think they were. The only thing I stand behind is deletion of all the pro-pedophilia communities.

How is it so hard to comprehend that Livejournal is a private company? They can delete anyone they damn well please. It doesn't mean they should. It just means they CAN. And they are within their rights to do so. Just as a business has the right to refuse service.

they only thing i can even imagine that people should be upset about is if they had paid accounts.

that's another reason i do believe LJ was wrong. i would be pretty pissed if i had paid for an account and it was not deleted by my hands. had LJ decided to keep them deleted, said users should have been reimbursed.
